In Kandy visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens, Temple of the Tooth Relic and seeing the Holy Temple of the Tooth as evening falls and the local Buddhists worship through bearing gifts of fruit to the shrine.
You can see the lovely views over the lake and city and the chance to see monkeys playing on the rooves of the houses below (we can not guarantee the monkeys) . It may also be possible to see a Cultural Show although these do get very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor.
- Pickup from your hotel in Colombo at 7.00am and drive to Kandy which will take about 3.5 hours journey( traveling hours can be changed due to traffic)
- Visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation
- Have your lunch at “Pinnalanda Hotel Restaurant”
- Visit Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic
- Visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens
- End your day with a lovely walk around the Kandy Lake
- Travel back to your hotel in Colombo which will take about 3.5 hours journey( traveling hours can be changed due to traffic)
- End of the Day Tour!
