Our ultimate two-week domestic flight tour offers an unforgettable opportunity to witness Sri Lanka’s real beauty through a bird’s-eye-view!
On arrival at the Bandaranayake International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality. An in-charge member from SL Wide Tours will Welcome you with a warm greeting and a garland and take you to the counter of the domestic flight and will be introducing you to the crew while your tour leader awaits at the domestic flight airport. Once you get off the domestic flight your tour leader will take care of your rest of the tour.

Journey

- Start this amazing day with a breath taking flight journey to Sigiriya. Experience an amazing view of lush landscapes en-route and famous landmarks
- After lunch there is an amazing UNESCO sight not to miss: Dambulla Cave Temple, the largest painted complex of caves in the world
- Relax at your hotel
- Overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama or similar

DAY 03
Sightseeing
- After your breakfast visit the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Known as Sri Lanka’s splendid medieval capital
- After lunch go for a Jeep safari at Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park/Eco Hurulu Park where you can see over 50 wild elephants go to the reservoir as the sun goes down
- Overnight stay at Heritance Kandalama or similar

DAY 04
Sightseeing
- Climb the gigantic Sigiriya Rock Fortress named as UNESCO world heritage site at about 7.00 am before the rock gets too hot
- Go for a village tour in beautiful Hiriwadunna Village. Experience travelling on a bullock cart, a walk in the paddy fields and a boat ride to get to the village. Have a delicious authentic Sri Lankan lunch cooked in a village home
- Have a good night sleep
DAY 05
Sightseeing
- Enjoy the morning breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast depart Sigiriya for Nuwara Eliya. Find yourself in awe at the breathtaking views of the colonial-era bungalows, Tudor-style hotels, well-tended hedgerows, silvering waterfalls and pretty gardens when you reach Nuwara Eliya
- Visit a working tea factory to see how tea is made. Enjoy the real taste of a Ceylon Tea Cup
- Visit tea plantations and take a lot of pictures in Nuwara Eliya
- Explore the gorgeous little England in the evening including the pink post office (one of the oldest post offices in Sri Lanka) in Nuwara Eliya which is housed within a beautiful Tudor mansion; complete with spires and a clock tower
- Treat yourself to a night at the Grand Hotel

DAY 06

- Start this exciting day having a fresh breakfast at your hotel and proceed to Golf Club for Golf session. The cool climate makes this the perfect location as this is far away from the hustle and bustle of city life
- Enjoy a high tea at the Heritance Tea Factory in the evening
- Have a good night sleep in your hotel
DAY 07
Sightseeing
- Visit the Horton Plains at about 5.30 in the morning through the misty mountains and don’t forget to pack your breakfast to have by the famous Bakers Falls (8 km walk)
- Enjoy a lovely walk with a warm cup of tea in the misty city in the evening

- Start the new day with an early breakfast
- Catch the flight to Yala.
- Yala National Park is a jungle book brought to life and you will be amazed by the scenic environment of the rural village life in Sri Lanka
- Get your camera batteries fully charged as we will head out for a wonderful evening jeep safari at Yala National park where you might be lucky to see leopards but will definitely see crocodiles, elephants and many rare species of birds

- On this exciting day you will either have an early sit-down breakfast or take packed breakfast and lunch for an all-day safari at Yala National Park

- Colombo City is as a colorful multi-ethnic city of contrasts that is rapidly becoming a must-see destination for visitors from around the globe. Spend the day exploring the must sees in Colombo such as the Pettah Market, Independence Square, National Museum and so on…
- Enjoy a lovely seaside walk down to Galle Face Green where you will enjoy the sunset whilst flying a kite with the locals
DAY 15

- Transfer to the Katunayake International Airport! Have a safe flight home!
